Job summary

The ESAB Corporation in Denton, Texas is seeking a skilled Cutting Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. You will translate blueprints into fully assembled weld cutting equipment, work with power tools, torque wrenches, and precision components, and ensure tight tolerances and reliable finishes.

You will collaborate with engineers and QC, run functional and airflow tests, perform basic electrical tasks, and help load software images as needed, contributing to safe, efficient

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven ability to read mechanical drawings and BOMs.
Experience assembling heavy-duty equipment and welding systems is a plus.
Must be able to use basic electrical assembly tasks and tools.

Responsibilities

Translate blueprints and diagrams into assembled equipment.
Assemble housings, mounts, regulators, feed systems, and components with hand/power tools.
Ensure tight tolerances, clean finishes, and reliable assemblies.
Identify misalignments or faults and work with engineering/QA to resolve.
Perform basic electrical tasks and wire routing as instructed.
Load and verify machine software or firmware as required.
