Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team and build custom conveyor systems and material handling equipment. You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and assemble components with precision.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, construction, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble conveyor systems and related mechanical components according to blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and tape measurements accurately.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, wrenches, and measuring instruments.
• Align, fit, and secure mechanical parts and assemblies to required specifications.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality control guidelines.
