Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Hollister, CA to support continuous improvement in the assembly process. You will handle inert and energetic materials, operate analytical balances, presses, and perform various sub-assembly tasks in explosion-sensitive environments.

We value candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, English reading/writing ability, and basic use of hand tools. OJT is provided; overtime Friday/Saturday may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools is preferred.
• Will provide on the job training (OJT).
• Must understand and speak English, and read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision.
• Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.
• Set up and use analytical balance.
• Perform inert assembly operations.
• Minor cabling, potting, tinning and assembly work.
• Set up and use powder press for pressing operation.
• Some minor set-up capability for specific equipment.
• May have some basic soldering experience.
• Install sub-assemblies.
• Must display proficient dexterity to ensure safe handling of explosive devices.
• All work is performed in explosive handling areas.
