Job summary

PacSci EMC is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for a Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday, 5 AM–6 PM) in Hollister, CA. You will weigh and press inert and energetic materials, set up analytical balances, and perform inert assembly operations under close supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, English literacy, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. OJT is provided; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Ability to understand and speak English, and read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.
• Set up and use analytical balance.
• Perform inert assembly operations.
• Minor cabling, potting, tinning and assembly work.
• Set up and use powder press for pressing operation.
• Some basic soldering experience.
• Performs various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
• Install sub-assemblies.
• Must display proficient dexterity to insure safe handling of explosive devices.
