Job summary

PacSci EMC in Hollister, CA is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to support high‑precision assembly of energetic materials. You will weigh, press, and assemble components under supervision, use analytical balance, and perform related tasks with attention to safety and quality.

Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. On‑the‑job training is provided, with overtime as needed including Fridays/Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to understand and speak English, read and write in English.
• Experience with soldering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision in mechanical assembly.
• Weigh and press inert & energetic materials; set up analytical balance.
• Perform inert assembly operations and minor cabling, potting, tinning, and subassembly work.
• Operate powder press and basic equipment; assemble sub-assemblies.
• Ensure safe handling of explosive devices in designated areas and follow training requirements.
