Job summary

PacSci EMC in Hollister, CA is hiring a Mechanical Assembler to support explosive-material assembly and improve operations in a safety-first environment. You will set up presses, weigh and assemble inert and energetic components, perform soldering and cabling tasks, and follow detailed drawings and instructions to build sub-assemblies.

The role requires staying current with certifications, working under supervision, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional overtime. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Must understand and speak English and read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.
• Set up and use analytical balance.
• Perform inert assembly operations and assemble sub-assemblies.
• Install sub-assemblies and perform various production assembly operations using drawings and instructions.
• Must display dexterity for safe handling of explosive devices.
