Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; preferred manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of nuts, bolts, fasteners and torque.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and measurements.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical gear and switchgear components according to blueprints and drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.
• Measure materials and components using tape measure and other devices.
• Use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, drivers) to assemble.
• Secure nuts, bolts, brackets, and hardware to spec.
• Assemble components while maintaining quality and schedules.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and resolve fit problems.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team to meet production goals.
