Job summary

Process Technology, a global leader in thermal and power conversion equipment, seeks a Manufacturing Assembler in Mentor, OH. This full-time, hourly non-exempt role involves reading schematics, performing assembly, testing and inspecting products to meet specifications.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and basic math skills, with the ability to use small hand tools and understand basic electrical/mechanical concepts. Team members follow safety rules and ISO processes.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Able to use small hand tools.
  • Adheres to quality standard and safety standards

Responsibilities

  • Review and retrieve required inventory parts on schematics, drawings or work instructions.
  • Perform simple to complex assembly operations.
  • Test and inspect product to ensure specifications are met.
  • Report any deficiency to the Department.
  • Follow department processes to ensure ISO compliance.
  • Possess some electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to use small hand tools including but not limited to cutters, strippers, crimpers and screwdrivers.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve workplace environment and safety conditions.
  • Maintain clean, neat, safe and orderly work area.
  • Attend work regularly and promptly.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
  • Attend and participate in all required training.
  • Attend and participate in all departmental meetings.
  • Other essential duties as assigned.
