Job summary

Harvard Integrations is seeking a versatile assembly technician to assemble, install, and adjust unit components according to drawings and customer specifications. You will use hand tools, fixtures, and test devices to ensure proper fit and function on a production line.

Responsibilities include reading specifications, positioning parts, inspecting finished units, and maintaining clean workspaces while meeting schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with accuracy.
• Flexibility and ability to work under production pressure.
• Ability to work in cooperation with other team members.
• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods, work on knees, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in enclosed spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings or customer specifications to determine position of unit component parts.
• Position components and install fixtures.
• Inspect products to verify changes have been made per specifications.
• Clean dust and dirt off building panels and electrical components.
• Gather supplies and tools needed to complete jobs.
• Drill and tap holes to install floor plates and thresholds.
• Grind knots off floor and panels prior to painting.
• Complete work according to schedule and document traveler details.
• Verify correct paint colors by reading drawings and specs.
• Assemble units and test for proper performance using gauges, test lights, hand tools, and related devices.
• May install windows, door panes, handles, drains or other accessories.
• Clean up work area and return tools and supplies daily.
• Work safely and perform additional duties as requested.
