Job summary

Crafted Staff is seeking a Precision Mechanical Assembler in Ohio to build and test small mechanical parts for aerospace and defense applications. You will assemble fuel pumps, valves, and related components in small manufacturing cells, using precision tools and measuring devices.

The role requires at least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience or relevant technical education, with strong manual dexterity and a focus on quality. U.S. citizenship is required, and a signing bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of hands-on mechanical manufacturing assembly experience or relevant technical education.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, assembly diagrams, and written work instructions.
• Experience with hand tools and basic measuring instruments.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in small-team manufacturing environments and adapt to production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small, complex mechanical and electromechanical components per work instructions and specs.
• Build precision fuel pumps, pneumatic valves, and related assemblies for aerospace/defense.
• Perform detailed assembly with multiple small parts and instruments.
• Read blueprints and assembly diagrams to ensure correct placement and fit.
• Use hand tools and measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality.
• Collaborate with team to meet production and quality targets, maintaining records.
