Job summary

Atlas-Tool-Works is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform precision assembly and light machining for aerospace components. The role includes assembling parts, marking components, and contributing to tooling as needed.

The ideal candidate reads complex prints, understands GD&T, and can interpret customer specifications with extreme attention to detail. Experience with hardware insertion is a plus.

Qualifications

• Exceptional print reading including GD&T and ability to interpret customer specifications.
• Ability to design and build tooling, fixtures and jigs from finished part requirements.
• High attention to detail with experience in assembly and hardware insertion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision components and perform part marking.
• Perform light manual machining as required.
• Read prints and verify conformance to specifications.

Assembly Technician needed for precision assembly and some manual machining. Role will include assembly, part marking, and some manual machining of precision components, many for the aerospace industry.

Skill requirements:

• Exceptional print reading including G D & T as well ability to interpret customer specifications
• Ingenuity-ability to design and make tooling/fixtures/jigs based on finished part/hardware requirements
• Extreme attention to detail
• Prefer experience with assembly and hardware insertion
