Lake Air Products is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build customer products by following blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. You will prepare materials, assemble components, and verify dimensions to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role involves sorting parts, testing finished products, and packing for shipment. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 1+ year manufacturing experience in mechanical assembly, and the ability to lift and move parts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of varied manufacturing experience in mechanical assembly.
• Ability to bend and lift, load/unload workpieces, and move between workstations.
• Ability to perform repetitive work for extended hours.
• Ability to quickly learn new blueprints and perform measurements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists.
• Organize parts and subassemblies for efficient assembly.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components or products.
• Resolve assembly problems by adjusting dimensions to meet specs and escalate if needed.
• Maintain inventory by monitoring stock, anticipating needs, and expediting orders.
