Vactor Mfg. Inc. in Streator, IL, is seeking a mechanical assembler to join our fabrication team.

You will assemble components and sub-assemblies per drawings and verbal instructions, and perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical applications on a day-to-day basis. Applicants should have at least 2 years of mechanical assembly experience, be able to read blueprints and hydraulic schematics, and operate overhead cranes and hand tools.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years mechanical assembly experience with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and build tickets.
• Ability to operate overhead crane, hoist, miscellaneous air and electric hand tools.
• Ability to work in prolonged postures (bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and squatting) while performing all job tasks.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
