Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a skilled Meat Trimmer to support the production team with precise trimming to customer specifications and high yield. You will ensure trimmed product is ready for the next processing steps and maintain quality standards.

The role requires knife skills, knowledge of meat cuts, and the ability to work well in a team under refrigerated, fast-paced conditions. Heavy lifting is involved and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Meat trimming and Knife skills.
• Basic knowledge of meat cuts.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify deficiencies in raw materials.
• Identify product by proper name and trim loins.
• Label/identify sub primal cuts after trimming to ensure product is ready for next step in processing.
• Knowledge of basic cuts and trim that prep table is responsible for producing (stew, roasts, PTRs, etc.).
• Some heavy lifting required.
