Job summary

Sysco is hiring for a meat trimming role where you cut meat to customer specifications with a high level of skill and precision. You will support the production team with properly trimmed product ready for further processing.

This position requires the ability to work in a refrigerated processing area, perform heavy lifting, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Employees may be eligible for an incentive plan and benefits.

Qualifications

• Meat trimming and knife skills.
• Basic knowledge of meat cuts.
• Working in team environment.

Responsibilities

• Able to see deficiencies in raw materials
• Identify product by proper name at sight and trim all loins
• Label/identify sub primal cuts after trimming for next processing step
• Knowledge of basic cuts and trim that prep table is responsible for producing (stew, roasts, PTRs)
• Some heavy lifting required
