Job summary

Sysco in Ohio is seeking a dedicated meat trimming associate to support the production team. You will trim meat to customer specifications, ensure high yield, and prepare product for processing. The role requires knife skills, knowledge of meat cuts, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Physical demands include heavy lifting and working in refrigerated areas, with walk-in interview times available Tuesday and Thursday at 12:00–3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Meat trimming and Knife skills.
• Basic knowledge of meat cuts.
• Working in team environment.

Responsibilities

• Able to see deficiencies in raw materials
• Ability to identify the product by proper name at sight as well as the ability to trim all loins
• Ability to label /identify sub primal cuts after trimming to ensure product is ready for next step in processing.
• Knowledge of basic cuts and trim that prep table is responsible for producing (stew, roasts, PTRs, etc.)
• Some heavy lifting required
