Job summary

Western Smokehouse Partners is hiring a fulltime Processing Team Member to produce raw meat products by grinding, mixing, stuffing, cooking, and documenting processes in a cold production environment. The role requires attention to detail, safety focus, and adherence to QA standards and USDA regulations.

The position involves operating and adjusting equipment, stocking materials, validating labels, and maintaining clean, compliant production areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing or food processing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read batch recipes and SOPs.
• Familiarity with Vista Trac inventory system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operational inspections of machines, rooms, and equipment.
• Receive incoming shipments and complete required documentation and inspections.
• Weigh and grind raw materials to batch specifications.
• Mix ingredients according to batch formulas and product requirements.
• Stuff meat into casings and ensure correct casing cuts.
• Load smokehouses and start programs per batch specifications.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas; maintain floor cleanliness.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, and FDA/USDA regulations; report safety concerns.
