Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced meat cutter to accurately portion products to ticketed specifications in a refrigerated production environment. You will pull, label, and stage materials, while maintaining inventory and documenting yield test data.

You must follow USDA guidelines, communicate effectively with the supervisor, and ensure product quality and readiness for orders. Previous experience with meat portion cutting is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with portion cutting meat.

Responsibilities

• Accurately cut to trim and yield specifications as specified by cut tickets.
• Communicate discrepancies between cutting tickets and customer purchases to supervisor.
• Pull raw materials and pre-cut inventory according to code dates and report short shelf-life items.
• Label products and equipment to conform to legal and safety regulations.
• Record data to produce cutting yield tests and maintain inventory levels.
• Ensure product specs meet guidelines and operate in a refrigerated environment.
