Qualifications

• Specialty meat cutter experience required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a meat cutter.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Trim and customize portions of meat products using knives, band saws or other equipment.
• Count and stack portions per customer and company specs.
• Label portions with supplied product labels.
• Read cut tickets.
• Set up the cutting room as required.
• Maintain sanitary conditions per GMP and keep areas clean.
• Work in a refrigerated environment 35°F-45°F.
