Peerless Pump Company in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Precision Material Refinisher to join its 1st shift Vertical Machining team. You will perform precision filing, deburring, and finishing of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished components to meet exacting quality standards.

Qualifications

Detail-oriented manufacturing professional with hands-on experience using precision hand tools and measuring instruments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specification sheets, and operation manuals.
Strong safety awareness and ability to consistently deliver quality work on schedule.
Experience working in manufacturing or material finishing environments.

Responsibilities

File, deburr, and refinish raw materials, work-in-process, and finished parts to meet surface specifications.
Install bushings, set up and operate parts washers, and mix hardening compounds to repair voids.
Read and interpret instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
Maintain records in SAP and other systems to track production progress.
Move materials to designated locations and keep a clean, organized workspace.
Promote teamwork and uphold safety and quality standards.
