Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Fabrication Mechanic - Marking Operator to accurately label parts and assemblies using various marking methods. The role requires reading engineering drawings and routers, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

The position offers 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:45AM-3:15PM) and 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:15PM-1:45AM with $1 pay differential). High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience with marking equipment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and routers.

Responsibilities

• Understand engineering drawings and routers to determine marking requirements.
• Apply marking methods (Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, Ink) to identify materials and assemblies.
• Barcode scan or manually enter identification data in the computer.
• Move and position parts, transfer ink markings, and assemble tags as required.
• Stand, walk, and handle items; lift up to 25 pounds.
• Follows safety and quality procedures.
