Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Fabrication Mechanic – Assembly to join the team. The role centers on fabricating metal tubing, both rigid and flexible, for hydraulic, pneumatic, waste and exhaust installations, including cutting, grinding, forming, deburring and polishing to spec.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 0–3 months related experience; reading blueprints is preferred.

• 0–3 months related experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpretation sheets.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products.
• Fabricates, assembles, and repairs rigid and/or flexible tube assemblies, fixtures, equipment, and products.
• Prepares hoses and fittings, uses hand tools, and applies RTV as needed.
• Sets up and operates swager, crimper and deburring equipment.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and process sheets to manufacture tubes.
• Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties may be assigned.
