Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking an Electronics Assembly and Test Technician in Oak Ridge, TN to perform critical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical systems in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Under general supervision, you will handle assembly, testing, and repair of electronic and mechanical components and systems following detailed engineering drawings and test procedures to ensure products meet quality and performance standards across diverse product lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Experience testing mechanical parts and electronic components per instructions.
• Ability to perform sub-assembly and process inspections.
• Proficient in producing production and quality documentation.
• Ability to assist engineering with prototype building and testing.
• Commitment to quality and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical systems with diagnostic tools.
• Perform precision soldering and rework of electronic assemblies as needed.
• Inspect subassemblies and finished products for QA/QC compliance.
• Document production, quality, and test results for traceability.
• Assist Engineering with prototype assembly and testing.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support a professional environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
