Job summary

R.W. Screw Products, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician – Secondary Operations in Massillon, OH. This hands-on role drives productivity and process stability across secondary machining operations, working with CNCs, Brother machines, broaches, drills, hones, mills, thread rolls, and lathes.

The technician owns machine performance, assists operators to meet production rates and quality standards, and leads continuous improvement through 6S practices and disciplined execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of technician experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up and troubleshoot CNCs/Brother machines
• Experience performing machine setups including tool offsets and first-piece inspection
• Ability to coach and support operators in a fast-paced shop

Responsibilities

• Own and support achievement of expected production rates and cycle times.
• Collaborate with machine operators to hit throughput, quality and scrap targets.
• Identify and eliminate downtime and scrap causes.
• Perform machine setups, changeovers and adjustments for CNCs, Brother machines, and related equipment.
• Document improvements and sustain results with standard work.
