Job summary
RW Screw in Massillon, OH is seeking a Maintenance Electrical / Controls Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, and automation systems across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems and a proactive approach to keeping equipment running smoothly.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting production equipment, installing and upgrading electrical systems, reading blueprints and PLC/HMI programming,
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role.
- 5-10 years of facilities maintenance experience.
- Strong background in electrical systems.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with troubleshooting ability.
- Proactive maintenance mindset and teamwork.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment in the plant.
- Improve manufacturing processes for safety and efficiency.
- Repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems in production environments.
- Install, upgrade, and replace electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Read blueprints, electrical schematics, and diagrams for diagnostics.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs for production/utility systems.
- Maintain low and medium-voltage power distribution and MCCs.
- Operate lift trucks and scissor lifts as needed.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts.
