Job summary

Taurus Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Production Technician in Long Beach, CA to assemble products and subassemblies safely and efficiently. You will use basic hand tools, tooling, and machines, following drawings and work instructions to maintain high quality output.

The role requires reading assembly drawings, following shop instructions, and adhering to safety protocols while contributing to a clean, organized workspace and accurate production documentation.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in assembly.
• Excellent time management and prioritization.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and subassemblies using hand/power tools per drawings and instructions.
• Operate injection molding press.
• Operate heating and cooling machines.
• Operate sandblasters.
• Cut and strip cables, removing jackets and insulation as required.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
