Job summary

QXO, Inc. is seeking a Production Specialist to support manufacturing by cutting, assembling, and handling materials in a fast-paced environment. The role requires hands-on work, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, measuring materials, inspecting finished products, and maintaining documentation. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift heavy materials while staying safe.

Qualifications

• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with hand tools and production equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work overtime if necessary.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, construction, or related field.
• Familiarity with blueprints or technical drawings.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs as required.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to cut, shape, and prepare materials.
• Read work orders and drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Measure and verify materials using tape measures and other tools.
• Inspect finished products for quality standards.
• Load, unload, and move materials within the production area.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to production and inventory.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe, including end-of-day cleanup.
• Follow safety policies and PPE usage.
• Support team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
