Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Operator at our Aurora, OH site to assemble mechanical units into sub-assemblies or complete products. You will use hand and power tools, fit and calibrate parts, and ensure quality meets specifications while maintaining a clean work area.

The role requires 1–2 years in packaging or distribution; high school diploma or GED preferred. Experience in a chemical plant and knowledge of cGMP/RCRA are a plus. Shift is M-F, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of packaging or distribution experience.
• Experience in a chemical plant is a plus.
• Familiarity with cGMP and RCRA training is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units into sub-assemblies or products.
• Operate hand and power tools and related equipment safely.
• Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet tolerances.
• Monitor product and material quality and document results.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Support line changes and production scheduling as needed.
