Job summary

Avantor in Aurora, OH is seeking an Operator to assemble mechanical units into sub-assemblies and finished products. You will use hand and power tools, jigs, drills, and fixtures to cut, fit, rivet, and align parts to meet tolerances and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in packaging or distribution; experience in a chemical plant and cgmp/RCRA training are preferred. Shift is Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in packaging or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet production schedules.
• Maintain equipment and manufacturing areas in a neat, clean, and organized state.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Maintenance, and QA to resolve setup and process issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and be flexible to multitask as needed.
• Have authority to stop the line and notify QA of contamination or quality issues.
