Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the 3rd shift at our chemical manufacturing facility in St. Louis, MO.

The role is full-time and onsite with a 12-hour night schedule from 6:00pm to 6:00am, rotating Sundays to Tuesdays and every other Saturday. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–3 years in manufacturing (preferably chemical), strong mechanical skills, and good math and documentation abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing, preferably chemical.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Able to perform basic math and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of both packaging and manufacturing operator.
• Weigh, measure and stage raw materials for production.
• Maintain batch records and logbooks.
• Report deviations to supervision and follow cGMP.
• Operate production equipment such as reactors, pumps and scales.
