Job summary

Montana Precision Products (MPP) is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Leader to direct the Tube and Duct assembly unit, overseeing 50+ hourly employees and salaried leaders. The role centers on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost, with a strong emphasis on Lean manufacturing, daily management, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent leadership experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading front-line leaders and large hourly workforces.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations within the assigned business unit to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Provide leadership and accountability to salaried and front-line teams for effective daily execution.
• Drive Lean culture with waste elimination, standard work, visual management, and problem solving.
• Own and manage KPIs including safety, quality, delivery, labor productivity, and cost performance.
• Maintain floor presence through Gemba walks and daily management to drive accountability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and support strategic priorities.
• Promote safety, respect, accountability, and employee development while ensuring policy compliance.
