Montana Precision Products (MPP) in Montana is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Leader to direct the Tube and Duct assembly unit and its 50+ hourly workforce. You will lead safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost, and mentor front‑line leaders toward daily execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field or equivalent leadership experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in a complex or highly regulated environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading front-line leaders and large hourly workforces.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs and drive measurable operational results.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations within the assigned business unit to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to salaried direct reports and front-line leadership teams to ensure effective daily execution.
• Drive a Lean manufacturing culture focused on waste elimination, standard work, visual management, root cause problem solving, and continuous improvement.
• Own and manage key operational KPIs, including safety, quality, delivery, labor productivity, and cost performance, developing and executing action plans to close performance gaps.
• Maintain a strong floor presence through Gemba walks, daily management practices, and employee engagement to drive accountability and operational discipline.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges, improve processes, and support strategic business priorities.
• Promote a culture of safety, respect, accountability, and employee development while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
