Job summary

Wayne Farms seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repair on large manufacturing equipment in our facility in North Carolina. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and service hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems to keep lines running efficiently.

Responsibilities include identifying root causes of breakdowns, documenting work performed, ordering parts, and coordinating with managers to schedule regular maintenance. A strong focus on safety and accuracy is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational certificate in relevant field preferred.
• Ability to pass internal required testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Identify root cause of machine breakdowns and repair to reduce downtime.
• Record and report damaged parts and install replacements.

• Coordinate with managers to schedule maintenance.
