Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations across machining and inspection in a precision manufacturing environment. You will translate business priorities into actionable direction, protect delivery schedules, and uphold quality and safety on the shop floor.

You will collaborate across shifts, mentor team members, use ERP data for decisions, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of machining operations and/or inspection.
• Ability to prioritize work in a dynamic production environment.
• Experience using ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) for decision support.
• Proven leadership and accountability on shop floor.
• Strong root-cause problem-solving skills.
• Calm and clear communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across machining and/or inspection with inter-department collaboration to align with production priorities, customer commitments, and quality standards.
• Translate daily production priorities into clear, actionable direction for the team, ensuring labor and resources are aligned to the most critical work.
• Ensure effective communication across shifts, including pass-downs of priorities and deviations from standard work.
• Maintain process discipline by ensuring accurate movement of parts and adherence to routers, prints, and work instructions.
• Identify and address workflow disruptions, resolving root causes rather than temporary workarounds.
• Monitor flow of work and bottlenecks, adjusting to protect delivery and throughput.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment and PPE compliance.
• Utilize ERP data and dashboards to inform decisions and improve performance.
• Lead and develop team members with clear expectations, coaching, and accountability.
• Facilitate team meetings focused on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.
