Job summary

Kelly Engineering in the United States is hiring a DIRECT HIRE - Manufacturing/Production Engineer to support precision engineering for energy, nuclear, and marine applications. Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required (Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical, or Instrumentation).
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment with engineered-to-order products.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, NFPA, ANSI standards; NFPA exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend with regular and punctual attendance as required.
• Evaluate customer data (3D CAD, drawings, scopes) to extract requirements for quoting and detailed engineering.
• Engage with customers, PMs, and commercial team to discuss gaps between scope and requirements.
• Identify customer-induced scope changes and elevate to project manager or commercial lead.
• Develop P&IDs from scratch or by redlining existing drawings for estimators/drafting.
• Perform equipment sizing calculations using ProMax and in-house tools.
• Review and approve 3D models/drawings per SOPs.
• Perform process design calculations for valves, regulators, PSV, and PV valves.
• Carry out ASME pressure vessel code calculations with Codeware COMPRESS.
