Aerotek in Kenner, LA is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to fabricate parts for rotating equipment. You will operate manual mills and lathes, work with steel and stainless steel, and maintain tolerances down to .5 1000's of an inch.

This contract-to-hire position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $35.00–$42.50, onsite work, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life and disability insurance, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a Manual Machinist
• Proficiency with lathe and mill
• Skills in manual machining including horizontal boring mill, VTL, lathe
• Experience with calipers, blueprint reading, micrometer, grinding, and drill press
