Qualifications

• 2-3 years machining experience.
• Extensive experience with lathes and mills.
• Manual machines knowledge preferred but not required.
• Competent with measuring equipment and tight tolerances.
• Extensive setup experience, fixturing and workholding.

Responsibilities

• Study drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Measure and mark dimensions on workpieces.
• Set up and secure fixtures and tools on machines.
• Set controls for speed, feed, coolant, and depth of cut.
• Observe machine operation and adjust as needed.
• Run trials to verify accuracy and test assemblies.
