Motor Technology, Inc. is seeking a Full-time 3rd Shift Manual Machinist I to operate manual lathes and mills and produce precision components. You will read blueprints, set up machines, and use precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances for reliable equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Blueprints or engineering drawings must be read and interpreted.
• Set up and operate manual lathes and mills to manufacture/repair components.
• Use precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes.
• Welding experience (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW) is a plus and valued.

Responsibilities

• Operate engine lathes, vertical/horizontal mills, and related equipment to produce precision parts.
• Read blueprints, determine critical dimensions, and set up machines accordingly.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and indicators to ensure quality and proper speeds/feeds.
• Assist with welding operations and participate in repair and rebuild projects.
