Qualifications

• Hands-on Manual Machinist with precision focus.
• Experience operating conventional lathes and milling machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and tolerances.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machine shop equipment.
• Machine, repair, modify and fabricate mechanical parts.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Select tooling, feeds, speeds and procedures.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, grinding operations.
• Ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances.
