Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or similar production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency using measuring hand tools to set up and maintain can line machinery.
• Strong critical thinking and logical problem solving ability.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working at heights, including ladders and elevated platforms.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain can lines while performing and documenting quality checks and measurements
• Take ownership of product quality and line efficiency, seeking supervisory support only for unusual quality or operating issues
• Diagnose mechanical and quality‑related problems, identify required repairs, and return equipment to service with minimal downtime
• Move pallets, tooling, barrels, boxes, and cartons as needed to support production
• Record product and equipment inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety regulations and promptly report hazards or unsafe conditions
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members on improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost savings
