Job summary

Benshaw Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an experienced machinist to join our precision shop. You will read blueprints, set up manual machines, perform standard cutting and shaping operations, and make tool adjustments under supervision.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, converting metric drawings to standard, proving out CNC programs when required, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Candidates should have 2-3 years' manual machining experience and a technical/trade school

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent
• Technical/trade school
• 2-3 years’ experience on manual machines

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and inspect detailed parts from blueprints using manual machining tools.
• Convert Metric drawings to Standard.
• Determine setups for machines per instructions.
• Perform minor repairs of equipment.
• Keep work area clean and safe while maintaining quality.
• Prove out CNC programs when required.
