Job summary

DuHadaway Tool and Die Shop in Newark, Delaware seeks a skilled Manual Lathe & Milling Machinist for heavy component repair. You will translate detailed drawings and GD&T into precise setups, operating manual lathes and mills to produce and repair tight-tolerance parts.

You will inspect with micrometers and gauges, collaborate with quality and supervisors, and ensure safety and clean documentation across shifts. A strong print-reading and math background is essential.

Qualifications

• At least five years running manual mills and lathes.
• Comfortable with three-jaw centering chucks and four-jaw independent chucks.
• Strong GD&T comprehension and shop math; able to interpret complex prints.

Responsibilities

• Translate blueprints, drawings, specs and GD&T into precise setups and parts.
• Set up and operate manual equipment to fabricate and repair precision components to tight tolerances.
• Inspect with micrometers, indicators, and gauges to meet customer requirements.
