Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in setup and operation of Manual Lathe primarily for the threading of API 8rd tubulars.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes to machine parts and tubular products per specs.
• Perform threading operations, primarily API 8rd threading, maintaining dimensions and tolerances.
• Select, install, and adjust cutting tools, inserts, and tooling.
• Use calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to inspect work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and machining specifications.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust to maintain quality.
• Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and machining issues; perform basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area.
• Inspect PPE and participate in safety training.
• Follow safety policies and stop work when safety concerns exist.
• Communicate production, quality, equipment, or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as required.
