Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Graduate of an approved program of mammography technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography radiographic exams on patients ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures.
• Prepares patients for exam, explains procedure, positions patients, and ensures technical quality of images.
• Enters and monitors patient data; maintains quality assurance on mammography equipment.
• Identifies and reports accidents, complaints or equipment malfunction to management; participates in safety and continuous education.
