Job summary

Ace Precision is seeking aMaintenance Technician to keep CNC machinery and support systems performing at peak levels in a clean, organized shop in Wisconsin. You will perform preventive maintenance on CNC, PLC systems, robotics, and facility systems, troubleshoot issues, and assist with installs and parts ordering, working with a safety-minded team.

The role emphasizes diagnostic skills, mechanical/electrical/hydraulic knowledge, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree with five years of related experience, or an equivalent blend of education and hands-on work.
• Fluency reading and interpreting technical instructions, diagrams, and specifications.
• Diagnostic strength across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Solid math skills.
• Initiative, sound judgment, and a safety-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventive maintenance across CNC machines, PLC systems, robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot issues using manuals and drawings to determine root cause and repair path.
• Disassemble, repair/replace components, reassemble, and validate performance.
• Maintain facility systems: heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical.
• Handle wiring, piping, and basic electrical repairs to sustain safe operations.
• Support equipment moves and new installations; requisition parts and supplies.
• Manage hazardous materials safely and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
