Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Gaylord, Minnesota, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (MTL1) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and improve asset reliability at the plant.

This 12-hour day shift (6:00 am–6:00 pm) requires strict safety adherence, GMP compliance, and teamwork with cross-functional staff; SAP experience is preferred to support reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certificate preferred; technical aptitude welcome.
• 1 year maintenance technician experience preferred; SAP experience is a plus.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Participate with reliability and maintenance teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Learn and execute Precision Maintenance techniques.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support maintenance personnel.
• Assist with maintenance training and knowledge transfer.
• Maintain CMMS records and support reliability reporting and decision making.
