Job summary

Boeing, via Spirit AeroSystems, seeks a skilled Precision Maintenance Technician for the Wichita, KS plant. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing and maintaining multi-axis CNC machines and related systems in a union environment.

You will collaborate with engineering, vendors, and maintenance teams to ensure reliability and timely project delivery. Responsibilities include data entry in the CMMS, developing detailed job plans, and mentoring apprentices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of precision machine maintenance experience.
• Willing and able to work any shift, including 2nd shift.
• Experience with precision alignment and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions.
• Enter and retrieve data from the CMMS and order parts.
• Plan and sequence installation of new or rebuilt equipment.
• Troubleshoot during initial checkout and resolve design issues.
• Mentor other employees and assist in skills training.
• Develop detailed job plans and access preventive maintenance documentation.
