Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, KS is seeking a Precision Maintenance Technician to diagnose, operate, and service multi‑axis CNC machines and related equipment. You will plan maintenance, perform rebuilds, and mentor apprentices while collaborating with engineering and vendors to ensure reliable, safe performance.

The role involves root-cause analysis, CMMS data management, and coordinating complex installation tasks across teams to support continuous facility operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of precision machine maintenance experience.
• Willing and able to work any shift; majority on 2nd shift.

Responsabilités

• Perform root-cause analysis in reliability processes with engineering and vendors to fix equipment problems.
• Enter and retrieve data from CMMS; order parts to complete tasks.
• Plan and sequence installation, checkouts, and FAT for new or rebuilt assets.
• Troubleshoot during initial checkout to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with teams to schedule maintenance and mentor apprentices.
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, levels, and laser trackers.
