Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. (RMS Inc.) is seeking a qualified Manual Machinist for 2nd shift in Bethlehem, PA to perform turning, milling, drilling, threading on rotating equipment components.

You will read blueprints and G-Code, hold tight tolerances, and operate lathes, mills, VTLs and Bullard machines. The role requires 5–10 years of experience, standing most of the shift, and compliance with safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school.
• 5-10 years of Manual Machinist experience.
• Able to read drawings and understand blueprints.
• Read and use G-Code as part of machining operations.
• Must hold tight tolerances to .0005 inch.
• Proficient with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Stand/walk for long periods; lift up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Authorized to work in the United States; comply with safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform turning, milling, drilling and threading on rotating equipment components.
• Read drawings and blueprints; verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate lathes, mills, VTLs and Bullard; ensure quality and specifications.
