The primary function of an RMS 2nd Shift Manual Machinist - VTL is to perform a variety of machining operations— specifically the set up and operation of the large VTL (up to 120” swing) on rotating equipment components such as pumps, turbines, and compressors. The Manual Machinist will also set up and operate conventional machining equipment, including lathes and milling machines, to produce, modify, and repair mechanical components. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, use precision measuring instruments, and maintain strict tolerances while supporting overall shop productivity and quality objectives.
